Over 40 years later, and he still has magic to do! Tony winner John Rubinstein, who originated the title role in the original 1972 production of Pippin, revisits Stephen Schwartz and Roger O. Hirson’s tuner in the Tony-winning revival helmed by Diane Paulus. This time, though, he’s dishing out some warfare advice as Pippin’s father, Charles. Rubinstein stuck around after taking his first bow on June 19 (a day earlier than expected) to take some goofy pics with his co-stars. Check out these pics of Rubinstein with his Pippin stars Kyle Dean Massey and Ciara Renee, shot by Broadway.com photographer Bruce Glikas. Come see Rubinstein for yourself in the Broadway big top at the Music Box Theatre!
